Algeria is participating in the fifth edition of Africa Health ExCon 2026, held in the Arab Republic of Egypt, through an official delegation led by Mr. Nacer Hamani, Secretary General of the Ministry of Pharmaceutical Industry, representing the Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry, Dr. Wassim Kouidri, and attended by Mr. Cherif Delih, Director General of the National Agency for Pharmaceutical Products (ANPP).<\/p>\n

On the sidelines of this major continental event, a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening and developing scientific and technological cooperation between Algeria and Egypt in the fields of pharmaceuticals and medical devices was signed on Monday, June 15, 2026.<\/p>\n

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on behalf of Algeria by Mr. Cherif Delih, Director General of the National Agency for Pharmaceutical Products, and on behalf of Egypt by Mr. Ali El Ghamrawy, Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority, in the presence of Egyptian Prime Minister Mr. Mostafa Madbouly.
\nThe memorandum also provides for mutual technical support between the two parties to strengthen the regulatory and oversight capacities of both countries and to promote mutual recognition between the two authorities.<\/p>\n
