<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Advertising aimed at healthcare professionals consists of any activity promoting the prescription and dispensing of pharmaceutical products. t requires <strong>prior authorization<\/strong> from the National Agency for Pharmaceutical Products (ANPP) and may only be carried out for pharmaceutical products that are properly registered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Advertising must not be <strong>misleading <\/strong>and must protect public health. It should present the medicine or product <strong>objectively <\/strong>and promote its proper use. Advertising must comply with the registration decision and the therapeutic strategies recommended by the Ministry of Health. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Advertising is prohibited for medicines undergoing a re-evaluation of their benefit-risk profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Advertising and promotion directed at the general public are prohibited, regardless of the communication medium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application File for Advertising Visa<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The request for an advertising visa is submitted to the ANPP in two steps:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Payment of the Fee<\/strong><ul> <li>A letter addressed to the Director General of the ANPP specifying:<br>Name and type of the requesting pharmaceutical establishment (manufacturer, importer, distributor, operator, medical promotion company). If applicable, the principal\u2019s name, Name of the product, its international nonproprietary name (INN), dosage, and presentation. Signed by the pharmacist responsible for medical information.<\/li>   <li>Payment slip of the fee, duly completed. The fee for the advertising visa is 60&nbsp;000 DZD per product, per dosage, per presentation. (Download)<\/li>   <li>For first-time visa requests, a copy of the promotion authorization (for import, distribution, or medical promotion companies) and, if applicable, the operating contract.<\/li><\/ul>\n<p>The payment slip must be co-signed by the Directors of Finance &amp; Accounting and Control &amp; Expertise, then collected by the applicant at the registry office against acknowledgment of receipt. Payment is made by bank transfer to the NAPP RIB indicated on the slip.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Submission of the Visa Application File<\/strong><p>Once the fee is paid, the applicant submits the advertising visa application file at the NAPP registry office. The file must include:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Presentation letter addressed to the Director General, indicating the target audience and distribution method. and specifying the product(s)&nbsp; Signed by the responsible pharmacist.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completed advertising visa form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proof of payment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid registration decision copy; if expired, attach a renewal receipt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Colored advertisement mock-up, clear and visible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CD-ROM with a digitized version of all documents above.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If applicable, a digital copy of bibliographic&nbsp; references supporting any claims, in French or English, originals or translations, with highlighted relevant sections. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Free Samples<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Free samples are prohibited (Article 237, Health Law 2018).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Regulatory Framework<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joradp.dz\/FTP\/JO-FRANCAIS\/2018\/F2018046.pdf?znjo=46#page=19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Law No. 18-11 relating to health, 2018 (Chapter 6, Title V)<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/anpp.dz\/download\/147\/decrets\/18320\/decret-executif-relatif-a-linformation-medicale-et-scientifique.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Executive Decree No. 92-286 on medical and scientific information concerning pharmaceutical products for human use<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Advertising aimed at healthcare professionals consists of any activity promoting the prescription and dispensing of pharmaceutical products. t requires prior authorization from the National Agency for Pharmaceutical Products (ANPP) and may only be carried out for pharmaceutical products that are properly registered.
