
Within the framework of the project ‘Support to the Health and Pharmaceutical Industry Sectors in the Fight against Covid-19’ financed by the Federal Government of Germany and piloted by UNDP Algeria, aiming at the rehabilitation of the clean rooms of the National Agency of Pharmaceutical Products, a meeting was held yesterday June 8th, 2023, at the ANPP headquarters, in the presence of:
– Mrs. Elisabeth WOLBERS, Ambassador of Germany,
– Madame Blerta ALIKO, représentante résidente du PNUD en Algérie ;
– Dr. Cherif DELIH, Director General of the National Agency for Pharmaceutical Products and National Project Director;
– Mrs. Leila ADDA ABOU, Representative of the Minister in charge of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production;
– UNDP Algeria representatives;
– Representatives of ANPP:
On this occasion, the ANPP General Manager, Dr. Cherif DELIH, presented a paper in which he discussed the progress, completion deadlines and main objectives of the project, in particular the reinforcement of the ANPP’s material capacities in the field of control of Pharmaceutical Products and Medical Devices.

Moreover, Germany’s Ambassador to Algeria underlined the importance of this project in strengthening the health and pharmaceutical sectors, as well as consolidating cooperative relations between the two countries.
As for the UNDP Resident Representative in Algeria, she expressed her willingness and that of her team to make every effort to carry out and implement this project using the best practices and skills available
