🌟In a move that confirms the government’s commitment to developing the pharmaceutical industry sector, the Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, Mr. Ali Aoun, paid a visit this Monday, September 30, 2024 to the National Agency of Pharmaceutical Products, where he toured the Agency’s new central laboratory, which will be operational by the end of October. The latter is considered one of the largest laboratories in Africa. It covers an area of 1,200 square meters, includes 7 units and will be equipped with the latest technology to control the quality, efficacy and safety of pharmaceutical products, medical devices and vaccins.
🌟 In parallel, a meeting was held virtually with all directors and heads of annexes to present the activity reports for the period 01/01/2024 to 31/08/2024.
🌟It should be noted that during this period, 2708 dossiers were studied and processed, resulting in the issue of 1568 Registration Decisions.
🌟The Minister gave directions, including:
-Accelerate the introduction of digital platforms to facilitate the filing of applications for registration.
–Emphasize the need to train employees in various specialties.
🌟The minister expressed his gratitude to the Director General and all the Technical directors for their commitment, and underlined the considerable contribution made by the regional annexes in reducing the burden on the central agency.
