As part of the support provided by the World Health Organization (WHO) to the National Agency for Pharmaceutical Products (ANPP) in achieving Maturity Level 3 (ML3), the Agency organized a training session on Good Distribution Practices (GDP) at its headquarters on June 28, 2026.
The training was delivered by Mr. Ameur Bouabidi, an international expert in the pharmaceutical industry and public health with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
The session was attended by inspectors from the National Agency for Pharmaceutical Products, while inspectors from the Agency’s regional offices in Oran and Constantine participated remotely via videoconference, alongside inspectors from the Ministry of Pharmaceutical Industry.
This training forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen inspectors’ competencies and enhance the effective implementation of Good Distribution Practices, thereby contributing to the reinforcement of the national pharmaceutical regulatory and oversight system.
