Mr. Ali AOUN, the minister of the Pharmaceutical Industry has received in audience, on Thursday, September 29th, 2022, the represantative of the Development Programme of the United Nations Mrs. Blerta Aliko, in the presence of the General Manager of the National Agency for Pharmaceutical Products and the ministry executives.

The meeting, aimed at enhancing cooperation between Algeria and UNDP, which helped at evaluating , and studying the progress of the support program for the National Agency for Pharmaceutical Products , as well as the prospects of its enlargement to get the UN agency support, through the strengthening of technical and human capacities for the production and control of vaccines and other innovative biotechnology products.

The audience also allowed to deepen the reflection on the opportunity for national pharmaceutical producers to adopt the UNDP standards and contribute to various UN programs for the benefit of the African continent in particular, in the context of fighting against HIV/AIDS.
