The National Agency for Pharmaceutical Products was invited to participate in the UNDP’s annual retreat, held from May 14th to 18th, 2023, in Constantine. Notably present were:

-Mr. Alejandro ALVAREZ, serving as the Resident Coordinator for the United Nations in Algeria;

– Mr Abdallah DARDARI, UNDP Assistant Secretary-General and Director for the Arab Region;

-Mrs. Blerta ALIKO, UNDP Resident Representative in Algeria;

– UNDP Algeria representatives;

For Algerian institutions:

Mr. Hocine MEZOUED, Director of Economic Relations and International Cooperation at the General Directorate of Multilateral Relations (Ministry of Foreign Affairs);

– National Project Directors (NPD);

Mr. Cherif DELIH, the General Manager of the National Agency for Pharmaceutical Products, addressed the session dedicated to project directors, focusing on the project titled “Support for the health and pharmaceutical sectors in the fight against Covid-19”.

Furthermore, Mr. Cherif DELIH, along with executives from the National Agency for Pharmaceutical Products, accompanied by representatives from the UNDP and Algerian institutions, visited the regional annex of the National Agency for Pharmaceutical Products in Constantine. The purpose of the visit was to discuss upcoming projects aimed at fostering cooperation between the National Agency for Pharmaceutical Products and the UNDP.
